Recently I was interviewed by Leyland Festival Radio about my new Project entitle “No Whispers” which was given a UCLan Propeller Enterprise Award. The Project is aimed at training Volunteers to become Champions in Social Media and Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness.
A series of interactive workshops will identify signs of exploitation and grooming, promote understand of the impact and misuse of social media, enhance knowledge of Safeguarding and reporting and enable volunteers to offer support and improved well-being to children and young people.
An Achievement of Awards event will be held for the Volunteer Champions with invited guests and organisations.
